The Central Dining Facility at the IDF’s main training facility in the Negev, was designed to provide meals to approximately 7500 soldiers in two shifts. The complex contains a main kitchen and 8 dining halls. As a “green” building in a desert atmosphere we designed internal patios for ventilation and light, with interior facades. Dining halls were designed with maximum opening without pillars to enable congregation for various activities. Finishes are concrete paneling, glass and aluminum.
